One-on-One Spring Boot Tutor
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I already work daily with Java and want to sharpen my Spring Boot game far beyond surface-level annotations. The goal is to dissect the framework’s internals together—understanding exactly how auto-configuration wires up, why certain bean lifecycles behave the way they do, and how to bend the framework when building production-grade microservices, tightening security, and squeezing the last drop of performance out of JPA / JDBC data layers.
Here is how I picture the engagement:
• Live, screen-shared video sessions where we pair-program through real code bases and spike experiments.
• Deep dives into microservice patterns (service discovery, config server, resilience), Spring Security internals (filter chains, OAuth2, JWT), and advanced data access (EntityManager tuning, custom repositories, transactional pitfalls).
• Homework or mini-projects between calls so I can cement each concept and return with pointed questions.
Acceptance criteria
– By the end of our sessions I should confidently design and implement a secure, test-covered microservice suite, diagnose framework behaviour with the debugger, and profile/optimise JPA queries.
– All sample code lives in a shared Git repo with clear commit history I can revisit later.
