Java E-commerce Backend Setup
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a quick, working backbone for a new e-commerce site. In this first phase I want a clean Spring Boot project that exposes RESTful endpoints for products, orders, and users; a MySQL schema that captures the core entities (focus on solid data modeling); and the basic wiring to run in a common cloud environment.
Key goals
• Design and implement the initial APIs so a frontend developer can already list products, create a cart, and check out test orders.
• Build and document the MySQL schema, including indexes and relationships.
• Apply the essential performance and security best practices—connection pooling, input validation, and simple JWT-based auth are enough for now.
Speed matters: I’d like this initial slice delivered ASAP so the rest of the team can start integrating. Once this foundation proves stable we can discuss deeper optimization, query tuning, and full backup strategies.
