Java Spring Boot Mentor

Job ID: 39909065

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I run a microservice-based platform built with Java and Spring Boot, backed by MySQL and hosted on AWS. To keep the codebase healthy and to deepen my own understanding of the architecture, I need ongoing support that combines teaching with hands-on guidance.

What I’ll rely on you for
• Walk me through the overall architecture: service boundaries, data flow, configuration patterns, and how each microservice interacts with MySQL through JPA/Hibernate.
• Provide concise diagrams, annotated code, or screen-share explanations—whichever medium best clarifies the topic.
• Jump in when blockers appear: isolate and fix bugs, optimise slow queries, or untangle Spring configuration issues.
• Review assignment branches or pull requests and leave actionable feedback so I can iterate quickly.

Must-have expertise
• Deep, current experience with Java (11+), Spring Boot, REST, and MySQL.
• Comfort with microservices patterns—circuit breakers, service discovery, gateway routing, secure inter-service communication.
• Clear communicator able to simplify complex concepts.
• Bonus points for familiarity with AWS deployments and an Angular front-end.

Collaboration style
All work is remote. We’ll coordinate over GitHub (for code reviews and patches) and schedule brief Zoom or Google Meet sessions when a live walkthrough is faster than a chat thread. Frequency is flexible; I’ll reach out whenever a new feature, bug, or concept review is on deck.

Deliverables are straightforward: an explained solution, an updated code snippet, or a short architectural note that resolves the topic at hand. If that sounds like a fit, let’s start with a quick introductory session and move forward from there.
