Java Room Reservation Web App
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I want to build a Java-based web application that handles room reservations from end to end. Users must be able to create an account, sign in securely, view available rooms, book them, and later manage or cancel their own bookings. That user-authentication piece is essential, but the rest of the stack is flexible: Spring Boot with Hibernate works for me, yet I am open to any modern Java web framework you are comfortable with as long as the code is clean, documented, and easy to extend.
The app should follow a straightforward MVC or REST architecture, store data in a relational database, and run locally through Maven or Gradle before being deployed on a standard Linux server (Tomcat or Jetty are fine). A responsive front-end—whether Thymeleaf, React, or vanilla HTML/CSS—is welcome; the important part is a smooth booking flow and clear, maintainable code.
Deliverables
• Complete Java source code for the reservation system
• SQL or migration scripts for the database schema
• Brief deployment guide (local and production)
• A quick hand-over session or recorded walkthrough confirming everything runs as expected
