Java Backend REST API Development
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m enhancing an existing Java-based mobile app and need an experienced developer to take full ownership of the backend logic. The immediate priority is designing and coding a clean, well-structured REST API that the app can consume effortlessly.
Here’s what I’m looking for: develop new endpoints (Spring Boot is preferred, but I’m open to comparable Java frameworks), integrate them with our current data models, and ensure the responses remain lightweight and secure. Clear documentation via Swagger or a similar tool is essential so my front-end team can hook in without delays.
I already have basic models and a staging server running; you’ll expand the controllers, write any required service layer code, and, where needed, optimize queries so we keep latency low. Tests—unit and simple integration—should accompany every feature. Provide the finished code in a Git repository with concise commit messages and a short README that covers setup and endpoint usage.
If you’ve built RESTful Java backends before and can move quickly while keeping code readable, you’re the person I want to collaborate with.
