Build Spring Boot Microservice API
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m midway through a Spring Boot project and need an extra set of hands to complete a microservice that exposes a REST-ful API secured with simple Basic Authentication.
What’s already in place: the base Spring Boot 3.x skeleton, Gradle build, and a PostgreSQL schema. What still needs doing: wiring up the service layer, writing the remaining REST controllers, configuring Basic Auth, and polishing everything with unit/integration tests and clear Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
Deliverables I’d like to receive:
• Clean, idiomatic Spring Boot code for the microservice, fully wired to the existing database
• REST endpoints covering CRUD operations and one custom search route
• Basic Authentication configured and verified for every endpoint
• JUnit/Mockito tests plus an automated test that exercises the full request-response flow
• An updated OpenAPI spec and concise README so I can spin the service up with a single command
It’s a straightforward task for someone comfortable with Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA, and REST best practices. If you’ve got examples of similar microservices you’ve written, that will help me gauge fit.
