Weekly Spanish Conversation Partner
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m setting up a relaxed, one-hour Spanish chat for my wife every week. She has a long running Duolongo streak but still doesn't feel comfortable in spoken Spanish so she needs someone to start chatting with.
I'd like someone with is a native Spanish speaker with good knowledge of Spanish dialects. We're in the US so we're mostly exposed to Mexican and Central American dialects of Spanish.
What she needs now is a friendly native speaker to keep the talk flowing, notice little grammar slips, and naturally drop in corrections or explanations without turning the session into a formal lesson.
The focus is casual daily conversation, the same kind of back-and-forth you’d have with a neighbor over coffee. She’s especially keen to cover:
• Food & cooking
• Current events
• Personal hobbies
• Family and children
If you can weave those themes into everyday small talk, ask plenty of follow-up questions, and share bits of Spanish usage while also perhaps noting regional variations, you’re exactly who we’re after. This is extremely casual probably weekly conversations. We can schedule on Zoom or Google Meet, whatever works for you.
