I am looking for a local Spanish Tutor here in Santiago de Chile. I realize that the Spanish here in Santiago is very distinct. I was told by local taxi drivers to try to learn Spanish here locally so as not to have to learn “Spanish for a second time”. I am looking for someone to have zoom meetings with, who can speak a good level of English, can prepare some basic material to review (for example, grammar, sentence structure, verb conjugations, etc. )
I would also like to have casual conversation about daily life, news, culture, and whatever else comes up without stopping to translate in my head.
I’m at an intermediate level, I’d appreciate challenges—slang, idioms, and faster pace—while still having you gently steer me back when I go off track or make major errors.
