Spanish Speaking Program Assistant For Nonprofit
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are representing a nonprofit agency providing housing services to help homeowners facing foreclosure.
We need your help to be a verbal translator by making and taking calls to Spanish speakers requesting to speak with someone fluent in Spanish about our services and their options regarding a mortgage and a property.
Spanish speaking call volume is low but need is immediate when they do call as their property could be taken from them if they don't make a decision quickly.
Each call you can expect to take 5-15 minutes (not usually to exceed 30 mins) depending on the situation and when the case manager you are assigned to can be available to live chat or be on the call with you live to translate.
Here is what you can expect:
NOTE: The times are flexible and are not set for your position. It's on call as needed with at least 1 hour advance notice given. If the time doesn't work, you can inform us what time does work using a rescheduling link you will be provided in your email with the confirmation of the call details.
You will then use that info to make the call for the soonest your schedule can permit.
Once you're done, you will provide a summary of the call to note on their file.
If they don't answer, you leave a voicemail.
If they do answer and confirm you have the correct name, number, and address, you will complete an online application for them thats in English that you'll have to translate on call to them in Spanish.
And that's all.
So to summarize, you will be responsible for completing 5 simple steps:
1. We schedule a call for Spanish speakers with you via calendly
2. You receive and review the call needs in the email you receive
3. You make the call back at the scheduled time you receive or use the reschedule link option in the email confirmation to reschedule for a time your schedule will allow
4. Make the call and take notes

5. Post your notes on their file we provide you access to
