Sourcing Expert for High-End Packaging Solutions
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We require an experienced sourcing partner with exceptional communications skills to facilitate the identification of highly qualified manufacturers and manage the process by which they will produce and deliver the specified packaging solutions for our small start-up business based in the U.S.
Packaging requirements:
1. High-tech type paper product box, representative of company delivering high-quality products direct to consumers.
2. Deluxe wooden display box appropriate for in-home display of memorial medallion.
Locate reliable manufacturers of paper and wooden packaging, specifically higher-end product boxes. The goal is to secure a production option that matches my brand specs in terms of quality, dimensions, and finish while remaining cost-effective and scalable.
What I’m looking for
• Suppliers that specialize in high-end product boxes.
• Guidance on material grades (e.g., kraft, coated, recycled), print methods, and structural integrity so the final product protects the contents and looks premium on shelf.
• A clear breakdown of pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times, and shipping terms for at least two qualified vendors.
• Samples arranged and shipped to me for approval before committing to production.
Ideal approach
You’ll leverage your existing network in packaging hubs, vet factories for ethical and quality standards, negotiate competitive terms, and present a concise comparison report. If you can also manage artwork handoff and oversee pre-production proofs, even better.
Deliverables
1. Supplier shortlist with contact details, capabilities, certifications, and recent client references.
2. Quoted costs, MOQs, tooling fees, and timelines for each vendor.
3. Photos or videos of factory facilities (if available) and courier tracking numbers for physical samples.
4. Your recommendation summarizing trade-offs and next steps.
