Sourcer (jobs + recruiting in tech)

We're a tech startup based in NYC that lives in the world of recruiting and careers. Uniquely, we provide a service to talent in tech that automates, optimizes, and supercharges their search for new jobs. Our clients are mid to C-level professionals in roles like product management, engineering, design, marketing, etc.
You'll pair closely with a Talent Agent and help them source jobs for their clients. They have a book of business in the form of ~20 clients who they serve. You'll get training and constant guidance from the Talent Agent as you assist them in client service.
What does it mean to source jobs? You'll:
- Learn about these 20 clients and their backgrounds
- Learn about their preferences for their next job
- Use traditional methods of job search to look through listings
- Use proprietary methods of search to look through company relationships
- Find ideal matches
- Send them to your Talent Agent for review and use with the client
After this work, we'll action on the matches you find to help the client get an interview at those companies, whether through our expansive network in the startup + tech industry, or through other methodology of job search.
You should be eager to learn about the nuances within the startup space, the fundraising particulars, the roles, etc. You'll get a lot of initial training as to how to judge people + jobs, and then will be armed with constant structured feedback to continue to improve and refine your ability to search + find good matches.
Anyone with a strong research skill and an ambition to learn is a good fit for this. The pay and scope is based on seniority, so whether you're a recent college grad or a mid-level technical recruiter, we'll make it work. Talk soon!
