Private-Label Personal Care Sourcing
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m launching a small, private-label line of personal care products and need an experienced sourcing partner who knows Alibaba (or equivalent platforms) inside out. My goal is to identify 4-8 high-quality items that can ship to me for a combined landed cost of no more than US $1,000.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Product focus: personal care items only—think skin, hair, or hygiene essentials rather than supplements or fitness gear.
• Supplier filters: proven product quality and solid customer reviews are non-negotiable; speed of shipping can be average as long as it stays within budget.
• Branding: I already have my own logo and packaging artwork, so I only need suppliers willing to apply existing designs rather than develop new ones.
• Inventory approach: small initial batch, no dropshipping models.
I need you to:
1. Research and present a shortlist of suppliers (ideally 3-5 per product) with full contact details, MOQ, unit pricing, and a landed-cost breakdown that proves we stay under the US $1,000 ceiling.
2. Highlight potential pitfalls—IP issues, hidden fees, quality risks—and recommend ways to avoid them.
3. Negotiate sample orders where needed and coordinate shipping quotes so I can make an informed final selection.
4. Analyze pitfalls in Amazon FBA do’s and don’t | basically need your critical thinking so we can get started without falling into traps along our new path.
If you’ve successfully navigated Alibaba’s private-label maze before and can keep everything transparent and budget-friendly, let’s get started.
