Petrochemical OEM Spares Sourcing

I need an experienced freelance sourcing specialist to help me secure mechanical and E&I OEM spares for several petrochemical facilities. Your track record in the petrochemical sector is the deciding factor, though familiarity with oil-&-gas or EPC environments is certainly useful.

The core of the assignment is material sourcing. I will pass you a rolling list of required valves, fittings, instruments, and rotating-equipment parts; your job is to locate legitimate OEM or approved-equivalent suppliers, obtain competitive quotations, and flag any long-lead or obsolete items before they become schedule risks. You will work with my in-house team for final technical and commercial evaluations, but you will own the front-end supplier contact and data gathering.

Key deliverables
• Verified supplier details and compliance documents
• At least three comparable quotes per line item (where market availability allows)
• Lead-time and payment-term summaries, clearly highlighted for mechanical and E&I items
• A brief sourcing report outlining any availability issues or recommended alternates

I already have an established RFQ template and a preferred formatting style for quote comparisons; you can use that or suggest improvements if you have a faster method. Communication will be in English via email or Teams, with weekly updates expected.
