Part-Time Technical Sourcer & First-Round Screener (Fluent English) — US Developers | $300–600/month

Job ID: 40623818

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

We're hiring a part-time sourcer to find and pre-screen US-based software developers for us. This is an ongoing, long-term role — not a one-off project.

How this works: You handle the first stage. You find candidates, reach out, and run a short screening call to filter out anyone who isn't a fit. You then hand us a shortlist. Our team runs the technical interviews and makes the hiring decisions. You are not responsible for closing hires — your job is to make sure that by the time a candidate reaches us, they're worth our time.

Budget: $300–600 USD/month, paid bi-weekly or monthly. Final rate depends on experience and weekly hours. We're open to raising this over time based on results.

What you'll do

- Source US-based developers via LinkedIn and other channels (job boards, GitHub, Dice, Indeed, developer communities, your own network)
- Send outreach that gets replies
- Run a 15–20 minute screening call with each interested candidate
- Deliver a shortlist with your notes on each person
- Keep an organized pipeline and send us a weekly update

What we need in each candidate you send us

- Confirmed US location and work authorization status
- Resume plus LinkedIn or GitHub link
- Your notes on their relevant experience and why you think they fit
- Confirmed availability (start date and hours)
- Their expected rate or salary
- Your assessment of their English and communication — they'll be working directly with our team

Requirements

- Excellent written and spoken English — you'll be talking to US candidates directly
- Experience sourcing software engineers, ideally US market
- A LinkedIn account you actively use for recruiting (tell us the type: Free, Premium, Sales Navigator, or Recruiter Lite)
- 15–20 hours/week with some overlap with US business hours
- Self-directed — we'll give you the role requirements and expect you to run with them

To apply, answer these five questions:

1. What LinkedIn account type do you use for sourcing?
2. How many US-based developers have you sourced or screened in the last 12 months?
3. What other tools and channels do you use besides LinkedIn?
4. How many hours per week can you commit, and what are your hours in US Eastern Time?
5. What's your monthly rate within our range?

Proposals that don't answer all five will be skipped. We're ready to start immediately.
