Menswear Capsule Merchandising Consultant
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m launching a premium menswear capsule—think well-cut T-shirts, shirts, and relaxed co-ords—and I need a seasoned merchandiser to anchor the development phase.
Here is what I expect you to own from day one:
• Fabric & trim sourcing: present a concise supplier matrix for cotton, linen, and polyester options that meet our target GSM and hand feel, plus matching rib, buttons, and labels.
• Design and colour curation: translate my inspiration deck into a workable colour palette and 2-3 design directions per category, complete with knit vs. woven recommendations.
• Costing control & negotiation: build a transparent cost sheet, negotiate with mills and trim vendors, and highlight savings opportunities without sacrificing quality.
• Sampling coordination: liaise with our in-house production team to book greige, track lab-dips, oversee proto sampling, and sign off on quality checkpoints.
Deliverables will include a sourcing deck, colour/print boards, a detailed cost breakdown, and a concise action timeline that the production team can follow.
If you have a solid network of mills, enjoy digging into GSM specs, and can speak the language of both design and factory floors, I’d love to work with you.
