India casting Sourcing Specialist

I’m setting up a reliable supply chain in India for a mix of cast components and sheet-metal parts. To do that, I need someone on the ground who already knows the local vendor landscape and can own the entire sourcing cycle—from shortlisting factories through to ready-to-ship, powder-coated castings.

Scope of work
• Identify and vet casting foundries and metal fabrication shops
• Collect capability decks, ISO 9001 certificates and recent production photos.
• Run RFQs, compare pricing, MOQ, lead-time and tooling costs.
• Negotiate and lock in vendors able to deliver powder-coated finishes that meet our adhesion and salt-spray expectations.
• Arrange first-article inspections, coordinate third-party QA when required and manage logistics to our warehouse.

I’ll supply drawings, annual volume forecasts and quality checklists. You’ll keep me updated via weekly calls, provide a vendor comparison matrix and hand over a final recommendation report along with initial purchase order paperwork.
