High-End Beauty Product Sourcing
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I’m building a new beauty-supply brand and I need a specialist who can take full ownership of sourcing and inventory management for a curated, high-end catalogue of skincare, haircare, and makeup.
You’ll be expected to research and vet premium manufacturers, negotiate pricing and minimum order quantities, arrange samples for quality checks, and set up a reliable replenishment plan so stock levels stay healthy without tying up unnecessary cash. Experience working with prestige beauty labels, private-label labs, or authorized distributors is essential, as compliance with cosmetic regulations and authenticity checks can’t be compromised. Familiarity with modern inventory tools (e.g., TradeGecko/QuickBooks Commerce, Zoho Inventory, or similar) will make the process smoother, but I’m open to the platform you’re most comfortable with as long as reporting is clear and real-time.
Deliverables I need to sign off on:
• A vetted supplier list with contact details, MOQs, lead times, and landed cost breakdowns for at least three options in each category (skincare, haircare, makeup).
• Sample evaluation summary and final product shortlist.
• A reorder and safety-stock model uploaded into the chosen inventory system, complete with SKU codes and barcodes.
• One-page SOP outlining how to place new orders and track incoming shipments.
