Custom apparel design + China sourcing — corporate uniform kit (3 color variants + packaging) : FS002

Job ID: 40448277

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

We are looking for an experienced designer / China sourcing partner to develop a custom corporate apparel kit for a premium valet parking service operating across and train stations. Project is confidential — client identity, full brand guidelines and color codes will be disclosed under NDA to shortlisted candidates only.
About the end users
The kit will equip valet attendants who handle high-end clientele (CSP+, business travelers, premium passengers). They work outdoors year-round on airport and station parking lots — running between vehicles, crouching to inspect, driving customer cars, exposed to rain, cold and summer heat. They are the first and last touchpoint of the customer experience, so their appearance must convey trust, professionalism and premium service quality — not the look of generic high-visibility workwear.
Why three color variants
The company differentiates three internal levels — standard valet, senior/premium valet, and management/staff — to recognize seniority and project hierarchy to customers. Each level wears the same kit composition but in a distinct color signature.
Why gift box
The kit is delivered as an onboarding welcome experience when a new team member joins. The unboxing matters : it conveys that the company values its people and sets the tone for the brand standard expected from them.

Scope
Phase 1 — Design (3 complete color variants) :

1 softshell jacket (mid-season / mild winter, breathable, water-repellent)
1 sleeveless puffer / bodywarmer (layering piece, year-round)
1 short-sleeve polo (summer + base layer)
1 cap (sun + brand visibility)
1 premium rigid gift box (magnetic flip-open, "Welcome Kit" concept)

Three color variants to be designed in full :

Variant A — Standard Valet : yellow base / dark navy embroidered logos
Variant B — Senior Valet : dark navy base / gold embroidered logos with yellow accents
Variant C — Staff / Management : black base / yellow embroidered logos

Branding :

Chest (front) : embroidered company monogram — on all apparel pieces (softshell, puffer, polo)
Back : full company logo embroidered — on all apparel pieces (softshell, puffer, polo)
Cap : embroidered monogram on front panel
Gift box : "WELCOME KIT" wordmark + monogram (front), full logo (bottom), color-coded inner lid revealing the variant when opened

Key design constraints :

Yellow must read as a brand color, not as high-visibility safety wear. We want premium signature, not construction site
Discreet reflective detail on cuffs or collar is welcome but must remain subtle (no full hi-vis bands)
Pieces must withstand frequent washing (domestic 40°C minimum)
Freedom of movement is critical : running, crouching, driving, opening doors
Embroidery preferred over heat-transfer (heat-transfer ages poorly on workwear)
Polo back embroidery must use soft backing to avoid skin discomfort

Phase 1 Deliverables — Design (all 3 variants) :

Mood board + creative direction (1 validation round)
Vector flat technical drawings, front + back, for each piece × 3 variants (24 plates total)
Photorealistic mockups or 3D renders for client presentation (12 visuals minimum)
Embroidery-ready files (.DST + source vectors)
Gift box dieline + print-ready artwork (outer + inner lid)

Phase 2 Deliverables — Sourcing & Production (Variant A only / 50 units) :
6. Identification of 2-3 suitable Chinese manufacturers (MOQ 50 acceptable, quality validated)
7. Comparative FOB + shipping quotes
8. Sample coordination (max 2 iterations)
9. Production follow-up + pre-shipment quality control
10. Logistics coordination to France (DDP preferred if possible)

Sizing :

Range : S to XL UNISEX (final size grid to be confirmed with client)

Required profile :

Designer based in China (Yiwu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen) OR designer + China sourcing agent duo
Strong portfolio in custom apparel, merchandise, or corporate uniform design — portfolio mandatory
Fluent English required, French is a plus
