China Sourcing Agent: Apparel & More

You’ll be taking charge of the complete sourcing cycle for three product lines I regularly import:
• Clothing – men’s, women’s and children’s ranges (T-shirts, hoodies, seasonal fashion pieces)
• Consumer electronics – small gadgets and accessories
• General home goods – kitchen and décor items

My priority is to work directly with dependable mainland-China factories, keeping costs competitive without sacrificing quality. That means you will not only identify suppliers but also arrange and supervise quality inspections before any goods leave the warehouse. A concise photo-rich QC report for every batch is mandatory so I can sign off with confidence.

Key tasks
— Short-list at least three qualified factories per product type, providing MOQ, lead time and price breakdowns.
— Negotiate terms, payment schedules and shipping options in Mandarin and English.
— Coordinate sample orders, courier them to me, and consolidate shipments once production is approved.
— Perform or commission on-site inspections, then deliver a clear pass/fail summary with detailed findings, photos and any corrective actions needed.
— Keep communication flowing through WeChat, email and Excel/Sheets trackers so I’m never guessing where the project stands.

Successful completion is confirmed when I receive:
1. A vetted supplier list for each category with full contact information and quotations.
2. Approved pre-production samples.
3. Final QC reports matching the agreed specifications.
4. Freight details and tracking for the consolidated cargo.

If you already maintain relationships in hubs such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, or Yiwu, highlight that experience. Familiarity with Alibaba Trade Assurance, third-party testing labs (e.g., SGS, Intertek) and international logistics paperwork will be advantageous.
