Reading Tales
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
We're making a few short movies which will come together to form a wonderful whole, called Reading Tales.
What we need is the filming equipment: ideally an Arri, if not Blackmagic or similar. Also sound recording equipment, again ideally high-end (Wysicom or similar) but beggars can’t be choosers. We have an editor, actors, director, AD and make up. We need a DOP / cameraman (probably an assistant if the camera is high high grade), a sound engineer and mic man. We are set on one short, to be shot outside in available light (although hopefully with golden hour sun), but are considering a second which would require interior lighting. Our director has a good profile, with endorsements from Terry Gilliam, Chris Morris, Irvine Welsh, Russell Brand and others, so we’re quite confident about using this short to get funding for a feature which these micro-tales are part of.
