Classroom AV AutoCAD Drawings

Job ID: 39791211

Budget: $15 – $25 CAD

I have a portfolio of university classrooms in various stages of design and renovation and need an AutoCAD hand who already “thinks in AV”. The bulk of the assignment centres on accurately documenting classroom sound-reinforcement systems: ceiling speaker grids, amplifier rack wiring, conduit runs and cable schedules. Roughly sixty per cent of the work involves cleaning up and revising existing DWG files that carry my red-lines; the balance is fresh drawings for rooms that are still only sketches on trace.

AutoCAD (2018 or later) will be your primary tool, but familiarity with usual AV notation—single-line signal flow, rack elevations, panel schedules—is essential so that the drawings tell installers exactly what to pull, terminate and test. I supply layers, blocks, title sheets and manufacturer cut-sheets; you return disciplined CAD files that plot cleanly at both A1 and half-size PDF, plus any updated Xrefs.

Deliverables
• Updated DWG files for legacy classrooms with my mark-ups fully incorporated
• New plan views, reflected ceiling plans, schematics and rack elevations for upcoming rooms
• Final PDF issue set and native CAD files organised in the provided folder structure

Each submission is considered complete when it passes my layer audit, prints 1:1 on the title sheet and matches the equipment list line-for-line. If you speak the language of SPL calculations, impedance, and balanced audio runs, we will get along well—jump in and help me make these classrooms sound great.
