YouTube Video Editor (High-Retention, Documentary Style)

I’m looking for a skilled video editor to edit YouTube videos based on a clear, structured system.
The videos are 8–10 minutes long and follow a cinematic documentary style similar to channels like MagnatesMedia or James Jani.
What you’ll be working on:
Story-driven YouTube videos (8–10 minutes)
Topics around business, scandals, systems, and hidden stories
Strong focus on pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention
What I need from you:
Clean, fast-paced editing (no slow or static sections)
Strong visual storytelling (not just random clips)
Basic sound design (impacts, tension, transitions)
Ability to follow a structured script and timeline
You will receive a complete package for each video:
Full voiceover script with timing
Clear editing structure
Simple visual direction
Your job is execution — not guessing.
What I’m NOT looking for:
Over-edited, flashy content
Slow pacing
Random stock footage with no connection to the script
“Just cutting clips together”
Agencies or teams — I’m looking for an individual editor
Budget:
Starting with test projects.
Long-term:
Consistent weekly work available
Open to long-term collaboration with the right editor
Test Project:
To make sure we’re a good fit, I start with a short paid test (1–2 minutes).
If the result is strong, we move into full videos immediately.
