Create relaxation/meditation tracks
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
Hello, I am developping an app. for creating meditation and relaxation playlists and I am looking for an artist to compose relatively simple tracks within the application. The application is a sandbox for creating tracks on a mobile device. It's much like a DAW, but ligthweigth, conveived for those interested in having fun editing on the go.
The target length for a track is 10 to 30 minutes. Beside the tracks themselves, the artist will be required to produce kits of 5-10 additional assets per tracks for users to play around. The assets are expected to be mastered together, to sound already well together as-is.
The application is able to generate tones, binaural beats, noises (white, pink, brown, blue), generating synthesis speech, play audio samples, change UI colors, activate smartlights and show overlays on top of the application content during playback. The artist is expected to use the visual features of the app. as well as the auditory features, in the design of a track.
I'm looking to sign with the artist for 3 tracks at a time, for each of 5 planned themed add-ons. Each add-on will be around a theme (e.g.: on the 7 chakras).
For each themed add-on, the artist is expected to participate to a brainstorm session, which could extend to the standard back and forth during implementation. During the brainstorm, we'll look at the currently owned assets and review examples that each will have prepared since the time we set a meeting date (it can be only two or three video links, etc.).
The displayed amount is for a total of 15 tracks to be produce for the first release as stock content or add-ons. I would like to sign for three tracks at a time and pay upon receiving the deliverables for each track.
I expect the brainstorm and composition of each track to take around two weeks.
Here are the deliverables for each track:
-The track (as part of an exported package from the app.)
-The assets of the track (audio mostly)
-5-10 additional audio assets
Note:
-The handing over of tracks implies a transfer of copyright.
-The application is expected to feature themes that are spiritual in nature.
-The artist is expected to have access to a windows 11 machine.
-The tracks cannot be too complex due to technology limitation (to be discussed)
