Cinematic Short Film Editor Needed

Job ID: 39946133

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

My entertainment-focused channel is moving into a slate of short films and every episode needs a slow-paced, cinematic feel—think deliberate cuts, breathing room for dialogue, rich colour grading, and immersive sound design. The raw footage (4K, LOG) and reference tracks will be supplied; what’s required is a complete post-production pass that elevates each story without relying on frantic edits.

Here’s what the work looks like for each film:
• Assemble and refine the narrative from multi-cam footage, keeping shots purposeful and unhurried.
• Perform colour correction and matching, then push a final cinematic grade (DaVinci Resolve or Premiere + Lumetri are both fine).
• Mix and balance dialogue, ambience and licensed music so the audio feels as intentional as the visuals.
• Insert subtle motion graphics or title cards only where they enhance mood.
• Output one master file (4K, 24 fps, ProRes or DNx) plus a YouTube-ready H.264 copy, along with a 15-second teaser cut.

Acceptance criteria: the pacing remains consistently slow and cinematic; transitions are invisible; colour and audio are broadcast-safe; final render passes internal QC for artefacts and sync.

Ongoing collaboration is the goal—fresh ideas on framing, story beats or thumbnail concepts are welcome. If you thrive on telling compelling stories at an unhurried tempo, these shorts should feel right at home.
