1980s Boot-Screen Video

Job ID: 40184354

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I’m producing a short “computer-boot” intro—under 30 seconds—that will live on my website’s About page. Picture a pure-black backdrop, green monochrome CRT text, gentle scan-lines and glow, and that unmistakable DOS-style flicker as each line types itself onto the screen. I already have the exact line-by-line sequence for the copy; you’ll simply animate it in that order so it feels like an authentic 1980s terminal starting up.

Along with the visuals, I need subtle boot-up and loading sound effects synced to the appearance of each line. No music, just the crunchy whirs and beeps that sell the illusion. I’ll supply reference clips and stills to nail the look, plus the final text file.

Deliverables
• 1920×1080 video, Web-ready (MP4 + WebM)
• Adobe After Effects project (layers organized)
• Embedded boot-up/loading SFX mixed to -14 LUFS or lower
• One revision pass after first draft

When everything reads clearly, flickers believably, and loops cleanly on my site, we’re done.
