We have a panel that will be installed – bolted on – to a steel frame, in different positions/slots on the frame. There is to be only ONE panel design.
Each position/slot of the steel frame is a little different as to what ‘obstructions’ are there – mainly bolt heads and nuts, and/so the panel and the backside of the panel must be ‘generic’ to enable it to fit over the small obstructions (bolt heads, nut heads) to fit snug onto the steel frame, regardless of which spot it is being installed
Thus, we need a mechanical engineer to
- Create one view of the spot that the panel is being installed, with ALL of the ‘obstructions’ - from all sources, of all the potential spots the panel can be installed
- Draw out a number of spots for bolt holes, such placement being generic/universal for all potential spots that it can be installed
Carefully produced source design documents ARE DONE AND AVAILABLE in Solidworks format extensions.
