Strainer Design Engineer Specialist

Design Engineer - specializing in strainers:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5 Years of Experience
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10 years of Experience
Experience:
1.3 to 5 years of experience in designing strainers and/or similar filtration equipment
2.Experience working with CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor) for creating and modifying design drawings.
3.Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, and API standards).
4. Knowledge of materials used in strainer design, as well as the ability to perform stress analysis, material selection, and calculations.
5.Experience in hydraulic design and understanding of fluid dynamics, designing strainers for specific systems or applications (e.g., water treatment, oil and gas).
Key Skills/Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA)/FEMA and other simulation techniques to validate designs. Perform pressure drop calculations as required
2. Reviewing TDS and establish GA drawings and shop/pattern drawings.
3.Strong understanding of fabrication processes and ability to work with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality control, etc.).
4.Good communication and documentation skills to create clear design reports, specifications, and user manuals.
Additional certifications such as Project Management will be added advantages.
