Solid Works Conical Plates to flat patterned
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I have a Tekla model that includes several conical rolled plates. If it is easier for you, I can also export the same geometry to IGES or STEP. What I need back from you is a clean DXF flat-pattern for each plate—nothing more, nothing less.
Key points
Solid works Skills important
• The plate thickness is already stored in the model, so you do not have to add that information manually.
• I do not need bend lines, hole locations, or any other annotations—only the true-shape flat pattern ready for cutting.
• Geometry accuracy is critical; the DXF must match the original conical surface when rolled.
Deliverable
• One DXF file per plate, correctly scaled and oriented, ready for nesting or direct CNC import.
I will supply the Tekla file (or IGES/STEP if you prefer) as soon as we start. Let me know which format you want and your typical turnaround time, and I’ll share the files right away.
Sample attached in dwg format. I could export an IFC or step file
