Project Overview
We propose to recreate the existing SketchUp design of your static measurement machine’s structural frame in SolidWorks, transforming it into a fully detailed, manufacture-ready model. Leveraging the preliminary SketchUp geometry and your complete parts list, we will build each component directly in SolidWorks, assign the correct material properties and thicknesses, and assemble the full frame. Once modeled, we'll generate flat patterns and export DXF/DWG cut files so that the sheet-metal components and profiles can be laser- or water-jet cut without delay.

Workflow and Deliverables
First, we’ll review your SketchUp files and the bill of materials to confirm dimensions, tolerances and preferred cutting processes. We’ll then reconstruct every part as individual SolidWorks parts, apply material definitions, and assemble them into the complete frame. From the fully constrained assembly, we’ll produce detail drawings for each part—complete with dimensions, bend notes and annotations—and export the corresponding flat patterns in DXF/DWG format. Finally, we’ll compile a finalized BOM in Excel or CSV format and deliver all SolidWorks files (*.SLDPRT, *.SLDASM), PDFs of the detail drawings and the cut-ready DXF/DWG files, along with a brief validation report highlighting fit checks, tolerance confirmations and any recommendations for assembly.
