Job Title: 3D CAD Design and Simulation Expert (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) - India/Asia
Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced 3D CAD designer who is proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks or CATIA or similar software to work on ongoing projects that require 3D sketching and simulations of machines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing precise and detailed 3D models based on conceptual designs and engineering specifications.
Responsibilities:
• Create accurate 3D sketches and simulations of machines based on our provided concepts.
• Collaborate with our team to understand the design requirements and machine functionality.
• Use AutoCAD or SolidWorks or CATIA or similar software to develop detailed 3D models, including mechanical components, assemblies, and simulations.
• Provide realistic visualizations of machine designs, including animations and simulations of machine movement or functionality, where required.
• Modify and refine designs as per feedback to meet design specifications and functional requirements.
• Maintain high-quality design standards and ensure models are optimized for fabrication/manufacturing.
• Prepare design reports, technical drawings, and documentation as needed.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in 3D CAD modeling and simulation using AutoCAD or SolidWorks or CATIA or Similar.
• Ability to create complex mechanical designs and simulations from concepts and rough sketches.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and functionality in 3D models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address design challenges and modifications.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with our team and implement feedback.
• Ability to work on project with a deadline.
• Freelancers from India/Asia are preferred due to ongoing project requirements.
