SOLIDWORKS stress analysis model
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
The following tasks should be completed by the deadline (3 days) for the 4 models described bellow:
1. Use Simulation package ( Solidworks ) to conduct a structural analysis to evaluate the stresses and strains developed in the component and evaluate whether the component is going to fail or not, and the location of the maximum stress (if failure happened or not).
2. Regardless of whether the failure will occur under loading or not, please discuss the location of the maximum component’s stress and explain where and when the failure is likely to happen.
3.suggest improvements that could be made to extend service life either in material selection or changing other parameters. And make sure a second model to be made to show this improvement.
4. Briefly discuss the component’s manufacturing processes.
You have to make sure finalise 4 models, 2 models per each component( one as it is mentioned in documents sent and the other after improvements suggested)
