Robot Sensor Housing CAD Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm seeking a proficient CAD designer who can create a housing for various components of a robot side project.
The housing needs to accommodate:
- A development kit
- A stereo camera
- A 3D LiDAR
- A power bank
Key aspects of the project include:
- In-person meeting(s) or online call(s) to gather the dimensions of the actual components
- Iterative communication sessions to update on the housing design
- The size of the housing is flexible, provided all components fit securely.
- The housing should be made of a durable plastic, such as ABS or PLA.
- Both standard screw holes and custom mounting clips need to be integrated into the design.
- The output CAD should be in both STL and STP format for be used for robotic simulation
Ideal skills for this project include:
- Expertise in CAD software
- Experience with designing for robotics
- Understanding of different material properties, particularly plastics
- Ability to create custom mounting solutions.
