Revo Scan to SolidWorks Model
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have high-resolution Revo Metro laser scans of a single mechanical part and I need them turned into a native SolidWorks model that is fully detailed, feature-based, and ready for manufacturing. Every fillet, hole, pocket, and draft angle present in the scan must appear in the final feature tree so I can edit dimensions later.
You will receive the point-cloud or mesh data packaged from the Revo software along with reference photos. Your task is to:
• Clean or decimate the scan only as needed for accuracy
• Reconstruct the geometry in SolidWorks as parametric features, not just an imported body
• Preserve the original part’s geometry to the tightest possible fidelity—functionally identical when overlaid on the scan
• Supply the finished .SLDPRT (and any auxiliary files) ready for me to open and modify
Please briefly outline your workflow, typical turnaround time, and how you verify dimensional accuracy so I can move ahead quickly.
