Real time monitoring of 3d printed part

Here you basically monitor the printing of a part and inspect it in real time for any defects like dimensional discrepancies, presence of pores on surface, irregular infill pattern, presence of contour and built up edges etc. Here, we are going to compare the original CAD design with the part that is being printed to be able to spot any defect in the part be built on the 3d printer. I really we might need to create our own GUI to show in real time the monitoring process and analysis which may be image processing or machine depending on expet preference BUT AT THE MOMENT i have my raspberry pi camera and module which i am using.
