Quick 3D Print CAD Design
Budget: $8 – $15 CAD
I'm seeking a knowledgeable freelancer to assist in creating a simple, low-detail 3D CAD model tailored for plastic 3D printing. This model is crucial for a small, yet specific element of my project, and I aim to have a physical prototype that showcases the basic form and function without intricate details.
Part replacement - fan for electric motor.
I have a 3d printer and will print the final product. Company no longer makes these.
Symmetry is important to assist balancing in high speed spin.
**Key Requirements:**
- **Modeling Simplicity:** The model should capture the essential shape and dimensions with a focus on low-detail adequacy for 3D printing.
- **3D Printing Material:** It must be tailored to plastic printing materials, considering their properties such as melting point, strength, and flexibility.
- **File Compatibility:** Deliverables should include files compatible with major 3D printing machines and software.
**Ideal Skills and Experience:**
- **Proficiency in CAD Software:** Significant experience in creating 3D models with software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
- **Understanding of 3D Printing:** An understanding of the 3D printing process, specifically with plastic materials, is crucial.
- **Attention to Detail:** While high detail isn’t required, accuracy in dimensions and overall form is essential.
- **Portfolio of Previous Work:** Showing previous 3D models designed for 3D printing will be highly regarded.
All dimensions in mm
Fits onto a small steel shaft with a flat-spot (see bottom-right diagram). This part has melted off.
