Part loading magazine design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am in need of a skilled mechanical engineer with expertise in CAD modeling to help create a part magazine used to hold parts in place for a gripper to pull from.
The ideal freelancer for this project should have:
- Extensive experience in CAD modeling, specifically in creating 3D CAD models.
- A solid understanding of mechanical engineering and prototype development.
- Ability to deliver high-quality, precise models to meet prototype specifications.
The parts in question are 3" x 8" flat plates ranging in size from .125 thick to .5 thick and i would like them to sit in a box kind of like a firearms magazine or pez dispenser so when one plate is removed it springs up ready to be picked again. The plates are flat and tend to stick to eachother so the box would have to be designed in such a way that the plate gets slid out to avoid picking up multiple plates.
8"-9" max hight, this will need to be 3d printable, as a precaution so if there is a crash in the cnc machine it will break apart instead of breaking the machine.
We are using gimbel automation spindle grippers to pick the parts up and gimbels website has a cad model of this gripper available.
