Metal part design in Solidworks (or any other popular 3D CAD tool)
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I am pursuing a hobby that requires me to manufacture some custom metal parts. They are pretty simple in design (2 different parts and each part can be described as a glorified screw). I managed to make rough drawings in Solidworks but require someone to help me finalise it so that I can send it for production. Anyone with knowledge of CNC Machining would be very useful to make sure the design can actually be manufactured. Anyone with the ability to actually manufacture a prototype would be extra useful.
The two parts that I need help with are screws and screw caps that are roughly 7mmx5mm in size and is close to a "standoff screw" by design (aka has a treaded hole on one side and a threaded pin on the other side). It is a bit complicated in how pieces need to fit together to align and there are some minor details that needs to be added - so it would be a touch more complicated than it might first appear. Attached are some diagrams to give an idea.
Looking for someone that can help me finalise the drawing and get it to a state where I can send it to get manufactured. As it is a hobby, I'll likely be tweaking it going forward, so would be nice to get someone that is happy to for me to reach out in the future for tweaks (of course happy to pay every time and treat it all as standalone projects etc)
