Mechanical / Industrial Design and Fabrication of Motorcycle Helmet with Special Function Visor
Budget: $500 – $1,000 USD
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical or Industrial Designer to modify a motorcycle helmet visor to function with air pressure, based on patent US11832676. The project requires designing and fabricating an assembly that integrates this special function successfully.
Requirements:
1. Must have access to a 3D printer.
2. Proficient in Solidworks or equivalent, with a minimum of 7 years’ experience.
3. Expertise in the design and fabrication of mechanical parts.
4. Able to design plastic parts and metal springs (if required), conduct 3D prints, and fabricate the designed parts.
5. Knowledgeable in selecting suitable materials, especially plastics.
Project Specifics:
The project will involve purchasing full-face motorcycle helmets beforehand; these costs will be covered in advance by us. Payment will be fixed at $1000 plus additional costs for necessary items like the helmet, approved in advance.
