Industrial Workshop Table Design in SolidWorks
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I'm looking for an expert in SolidWorks who can quickly finalize my design of a custom sturdy workbench for my workshop. I have a clear vision of the result and started drawing it in SolidWorks but this is beyond my capabilites, so I need someone to finish it for me. All my attempts form SolidWorks are attached in a ZIP.
The following features are needed:
- wooden board 950x700x50mm
- frame welded from steel square tubes
- total table height 800mm
- the cuts on the square tubes should be orthogonal or inclined on a single axis so that they could be made on a manually operated saw machine
- hollow legs made of 100x100x4mm steel square tubes, rectangular openings on the inner side of each leg to fill them with extra weight for more stability
- bottom side of the board needs 80mm clearance from the frame
- reinforcement struts between the legs, these need to be placed in the upper mid part of the legs so that I can slide my foot slightly underneath the table when working
- the two previous points imply the legs should be inclined as pictured
- bottom side of the legs must be ended by a 5mm thick steel rectangles, overlapping the legs by 5mm on each side. The extremities of the table legs must fit within the 950x700mm outline of the board
- retractable wheels operated manually by a lever or by a cordless screwdriver, the mechanism needs to be simple to manufacture and easy to use. To mount the wheels, I like the concept of retractable hinged plates, attached to the backsides of the table legs. The 3D model of the actual wheel is attached below. The URL of the wheel is here: https://www.kolapirkl.cz/pristrojove-pojezdove-kolecko-a301-mgd-100
- consider enhancing the design by features or elements that would facilitate the manual welding process
Please deliver the files: assembly, parts and their drawings required to manufacture the table manually.
Any suggestions how to simply the design a welcome. I am open to
If possible, please provide examples of similar projects you've completed in your proposal.
