I'm seeking a mechanical designer to develop a special ratcheting mechanism, primarily focused on high torque handling. The mechanism will be used in a rotary tool and should be made of steel.
Specifications:
- it is installed on a drive shaft (7 mm diameter) rotating a wheel (30 mm diameter)
- full rotation in clockwise direction
- when turned counterclockwise: turn 180 degrees then release the rotation (drive shaft will turn and wheel locked)
Key Requirements:
- High torque handling is the top priority
- Steel material
