Freelance Mechanical Designer / Draftsman Wanted (Potential Long-Term Role)
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
We are a fast-growing engineering startup looking for a highly skilled freelance mechanical designer or draftsman to collaborate on industrial and plant-related projects. We’re particularly interested in professionals who have worked with major engineering firms such as Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Bechtel, FLSmidth, Metso, or similar companies in the mining, energy, or heavy industry sectors.
Responsibilities:
Produce detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models.
Design manufacturing drawings, assemblies, structural frameworks, and layouts.
Collaborate on machinery, piping, or plant system designs.
Understand and apply technical specifications to deliver production-ready outputs.
Requirements:
Proven experience in international engineering firms or EPC companies.
Proficiency in at least three of the following tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Blender, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, 3ds Max, Revit.
Ability to deliver precise and professional technical drawings and 3D visualizations.
Good written and spoken English communication skills.
Availability for freelance collaboration, with potential for full-time employment.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with ASME, ISO, or ASTM standards.
Experience in mining, heavy industrial plants, or mechanical systems.
Portfolio including technical drawings, 3D models, or rendered projects.
Self-management skills and ability to work within remote teams.
