Experienced Engineer for CAD Assembly of Bearing Unit
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
We are seeking an experienced CAD freelancer with a mechanical engineering background to assemble and create technical drawings for a standard bearing unit project. Only applicants with knowledge of bearing operation and mechanical systems should apply. Architectural or animation-focused designers are not suitable for this task.
Key Tasks:
Assemble all provided parts (in .STEP format) into a functional unit, ensuring proper constraints and alignment (e.g., bearings, seals, housing, screws).
Modify one part: the housing, by extending its top curve slightly to meet updated specifications.
Create accurate technical 2D drawings (.dwg or .dxf) with standard views (front, section, details) and a complete Bill of Materials (BOM).
The assembly includes only 4 non-standard parts; all other components are ISO/DIN standard pieces.
Deliverables:
Final assembly file in .x_t/.step format.
2D technical drawings in .dwg/.dxf and exported as PDFs.
Updated BOM included in drawings or as a separate Excel file.
Important Notes:
