Engineering Design for Moulds
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
i am wanting to have some molds designed for pre cast concrete products, so these can be used to manufacture products. there are two molds and i have attached an example of the engineering of a competitors product to give examples of what the product will be like. ideally the person use solidworks software and be able to supply a cutting list of extrusions. the actual size of the product i want to be able to build the prototype mold for is 4750mm x 2750mm x 1690mm.
Extrusions for the outer mold is
10mm plate steel (outer mold frame)
100mm x 50mm x 6mm (frame)
Extrusions for the inner mold frame
25mm x 25mm x 2.5mm
The inner frame is used to layout and weld up the reo cage around it, it would then be lifted from the inner frame and placed into the outer mold for the pouring of the concrete. (see attached engineering and photos)
Once everyone has submitted their pricing and an example of their works i will award the winner with the work and give them actual sizing. Completed works will be required in 3 days from being awarded
