I'm in need of a specialized mouse model for disease research. The primary aim is to study a specific disease using a gene knockout approach.
Key Requirements:
- Design and creation of a gene knockout mouse model
- Expertise in mouse genetics and disease modeling
- Experience in transgenic mouse model development (CRISPR/Cas9, Cre-Lox system or BAC)
- Prior work with disease-studying mouse models
Please note that while the third question about the transgenic expression system was skipped, a strong background in using various transgenic systems will be highly advantageous. Your ability to understand and manipulate complex genetic factors will be key to success in this project.
