I'm seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer with experience in planetary gear systems for industrial machinery. The task involves designing a bespoke planetary gear for a specialized tool used to pre-compress a spring to a specific torque. The final design should include 3D models and engineering drawings, suitable for manufacturing.
Key Requirements:
- You will need to design a gear system with dimensions of 106mm x 106mm x 30mm, so precision and attention to detail are crucial.
- A deep understanding of gear mechanics and industrial machinery is necessary to ensure the design is fit for purpose.
- Experience in designing compact gear systems is a plus as this project requires a relatively small, yet robust design.
Gear Ratio: 1000:1 reduction ratio (3 stages 10:1 each)
Components:
Sun gear 20 teeth.
Planet gears 80 teeth (typically 3 for load distribution)
Ring gear 180 teeth
