Custom Go-Kart with Independent Suspension Build
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I'm in need of a skilled engineer or designer who can build me a custom go-kart. The kart should have:
- Independent suspension: This is crucial as the go-kart will be used on mixed terrain. The suspension system should be able to handle bumps, dips and rough patches smoothly.
- A manual transmission: I want to be able to control the speed and power of the kart manually.
The engine should be:
- Gasoline powered: I have a preference for gasoline engines over electric ones. The engine should be robust and able to withstand off-road conditions.
The go-kart should be able to:
- Achieve speeds over 50 mph: The top speed of the go-kart needs to be over 50 mph. It should be fast, but still safe.
Ideal skills for this project include: mechanical engineering, design and fabrication, knowledge of suspension systems, experience with building go-karts or similar vehicles. Please provide examples of previous work if possible.
