Job Description:
I need a custom-designed shell (case) for a calculator. The shell should look exactly like a standard calculator but must accommodate specific internal components for a PCB I have already designed.
Scope of Work:
1. 3D CAD Design (STEP/STL files)
Design a realistic, functional calculator shell (top and bottom parts).
The shell should have:
Button layout matching the PCB
A space for an OLED
The shell must be easy to assemble/disassemble for maintenance.
2. Manufacturing/Prototyping (Optional)
If you have manufacturing capabilities, I would like a small batch (5-10 units) produced using 3D printing or injection molding.
Provide material recommendations for durability.
Provided Materials:
PCB design files & dimensions
Button layout & OLED screen specifications
Key Requirements:
Experience in 3D CAD modeling for enclosures (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.)
Knowledge of injection molding/3D printing
Ability to work with provided PCB dimensions and button layouts
Confidentiality is important (sign NDA if necessary)
Deliverables:
3D CAD Files (STEP/STL format)
2D Technical Drawings (for reference)
Prototype manufacturing plan (if applicable)
Please provide:
Portfolio of similar projects
Estimated timeline & cost for design
Cost for prototype manufacturing (if you offer this service)
