Executive Drawings for Compact 3-Axes CNC Machine.
Description:
I’m seeking an experienced mechanical designer to create executive drawings for compact machinery intended for automated laser processing (precision cutting, marking, and welding). Design references will be provided to guide the project.
Scope of Work:
Produce detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and assembly instructions for a small-footprint laser processing machine.
Utilize a provided enclosure design and create detailed drawings for all structural components, doors, ventilation, and safety features, with a focus on ergonomics, usability, and operator safety.
Ensure manufacturability through the use of sheet metal and standard components, including a complete bill of materials (BOM) and specified dimensions/tolerances.
Requirements:
Expertise in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor, with experience in machine enclosures, sheet metal design, and industrial equipment.
Attention to detail for producing high-quality, manufacturable technical drawings, including all necessary views, cutouts, and internal component mounts.
Experience with compact automated machinery is a plus.
Portfolio demonstrating prior work in industrial machine design.
