Add parametric variables to Solidworks model
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I already have a part finished SolidWorks model (attached below) I've created using the maker version of solidworks I'm making of a garage building.
I am going to build it in my garden so I will use the model for drawings at a later point. I'd like to more easily make changes to the model by updating variables and seeing the design update.
• add global variables that control the key dimensions of the main components (like the dimensions of the building)
• Build any necessary equations so a change to one driver dimension automatically updates the dependent ones; no naming convention is required, so use whatever is quickest for you.
• After the variables are in place, the assembly must rebuild without errors when I adjust those values. A simple test set of two or three different size configurations should prove it works.
Please return the updated Solidworks file and a video / screenshots proving the variables are updating the design without errors.
Returned file must work with my maker version of solidworks so I can continue to work on it.
