Front Runner Bot Project Description
Purpose:
- The purpose of this project is to develop a bot for my client's personal use.
Description:
Functionality Overview:
The bot will continuously monitor selected blockchain(s) for pending transactions.
Analyze transaction queue and detect potential front-running opportunities based on set criteria.
Upon identification, swiftly submit a transaction with a higher gas fee to be mined before the targeted transaction.
Execute trades or operations to capitalize on the opportunity and subsequently revert to monitoring mode.
Core Components:
a. Monitoring Module:
Monitors transaction pool (mempool) of selected blockchain(s).
Filters transactions based on criteria such as transaction type, value, destination address, and gas price.
b. Analysis Engine:
Identifies potential profitable front-running scenarios.Utilizes heuristics and algorithms to decide on whether to act or not based on risk and potential reward.
c. Execution Module:
Prepares and submits transactions with appropriate data and gas settings.
Ensures that the bot's transaction is confirmed before the targeted transaction.
Optionally, handles reversion in case of failed front-running attempts.
Specifications & Requirements:
a. Blockchain Compatibility: Initially target Ethereum, with plans to expand to other blockchains in the future.
b. Wallet Integration: The bot should be able to interface with major cryptocurrency wallets like Metamask, Ledger, etc. for transaction submissions.
c. Gas Strategy: Implement dynamic gas strategies to ensure timely transaction confirmation without excessive expenditure.
d. Logging & Reporting: Detailed logs and reports on every attempted and successful front-run, including ROI and other key metrics.
e. Safety Protocols: Incorporate safety mechanisms such as spending limits, rate limits, and fail-safe routines to minimize risks.
f. UI/UX: Develop a user-friendly interface for easy setup, monitoring, and configuration.
